I don't know - Grenth did replace his predecessor, so he's probably not eternal either. Although he could have been a god of cold from the start and only picked up death from Dhuum...

That said, I have wondered why Dwayna and Melandru have wings while the others don't - could it be an indication that these two goddesses could be different to the others, and could this difference be that they were the original, eternal deities while the others appeared along the way? Of course, it could just be an affectation - if it was just Dwayna I'd ignore it as part of her control over air, it's the fact that shrines of Melandru also have the wings that puts me into conspiracy theory mode - but Dwayna and Melandru being the elder gods would go some way to explaining Dwayna's leadership of the pantheon.

gwen is somehow from the same bloodline as the ''undead lord'' possesing supernatural powers but when a charr shamaqn kills her with ''charr rage'' *ELITE SKILL* for 10 seconds target is dead and stays dead after the 10 seconds aswell, dhuum snatches her soul and keeps her as a prisoner in the sacred place of unholy crap that isnt in guild wars yet. in the elite mission you will have to find a way to defeat dhuum and save gwen from this evil god (btw grenth helps you by giving you special skills ^^)

dwayna and melandru have wings because the others float (except balthazar he just uses a jetpack(well he is the god of fire!))

dont talk bad about gwen (dramatric music) she put our tyrian heroes where we stand today she gaves us strength and taught us well as we bought her flutes capes and flowers.thats why i think she will be an important link in one of the next up coming games

Gwen quit Guild Wars after Anet refused her terms on her salary. She packed up and left to join the wind orchestra in NYC. She's now a renown flute player, touring all over Europe with her musical group, "The Unbroken Flutes". Since Anet didn't want to pay legal rights to use her face, it just seems reasonable to believe that the Charr searing completely obliterated her pixels.


She is now married to a Russian painter and has 2 children, twin boys.

Actually Abaddon is younger then the 5 gods. He got his power from another god before him.

Well, we don't know if Grenth was a god before he knocked over Dhuum. It could have been that originally death and cold had seperate gods and Grenth absorbed Dhuum's powers to gain command over both, or Grenth could have gained his power from Dhuum just as Abaddon and Kormir did from their predecessors.

So he's not necassarily younger than Grenth at least, and for all we know, some or all of the other Gods have similar origin stories.
